WatchAugust 19, 2010: I am in Salt Lake City, UT. I got a “mom lecture” about this trip and my luggage after Delta sent my bag straight to SLC from STL. :)
WatchAugust 19, 2010: I am in Bismarck, ND! 20 minute layover, but there are only 4 gates here. The run continues.

Tomorrow.
In the next 24 hours I attempt the craziest mileage run of my life… 6 flights, 7 airports, 13,000 miles, 7 states, 2 countries, and 13 timezones. If my luggage makes it to Sydney with me I’ll be extremely impressed with Delta. The odds are against them. I’ve built 7 hours of layovers into my itinerary to be safe, no less than 55 mins each during the 5 stops. :)
